Welcome to THE BLUE BUTTERFLY STUDIO.
My name is Andy Hayward, painter, sculptor and owner of The Blue Butterfly Studio.
Subject matter can vary a lot in my work, however it is influenced by nature- be it plant life or animals. I am a big dog lover and like nothing more than to capture them in paintings and sometimes in sculpture. I try to bring out the real character of the individual dog.
Over the last few years I have been involved with stone carving and I am now a member of the Shapeshifters Sculpture Company- you can find their website details in the Links section of this website.
My work can be seen regularly at the RBSA (Royal Birmingham Society of Artists) where they are shown in open and friends exhibitions.
I also exhibit from time to time at various galleries around the Midlands area of the country. Details of all exhibitions are posted on this website.
Also my works form part of private collections throughout the UK.
